Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm Eastern. The shop opens at 7:00am and the office is staffed from 8:00am. We are closed weekends and on federal holidays.
Installation crews work outside these hours regularly — overnight in hospitals, evenings in occupied retail — and scheduling for that is arranged through your project manager rather than the main line.
Who to ask for
A new project or a price. Estimating. Read what to include in a quote request first; sending those details up front usually saves a round of questions and gets you a number several days sooner.
An existing project. Your project manager directly. If you do not have the number to hand, the main line will connect you.
A sign that has stopped working. Service, by phone if it is urgent. For a total outage on illuminated signage we aim to be on site within five working days. Egress and life-safety signage is treated same-day or next-day. Terms are on the warranty page.
Architects and specifiers. Ask for the design office. We can supply specification language, typical details and material samples for a project you are documenting, whether or not we end up bidding it.
Employment. Send a note to the general address with the trade you work in. We hire fabricators, installers and finishers, and we train people without sign-industry experience who have relevant metal, electrical or finishing skills.
Visiting
Visitors are welcome, and we would rather show you the shop than send a brochure. Call ahead so someone is free to walk you through — unannounced visits during a busy install week may mean waiting a while.
The shop is on Foundry Road in the industrial district east of the river, with visitor parking at the office end of the building. Deliveries use the yard entrance further along the same frontage. The building is single storey and step-free throughout.
Service area
We work throughout Ohio, and regularly in western Pennsylvania, eastern Indiana and northern Kentucky. Beyond roughly a four-hour radius of Marren, travel and lodging begin to affect the price enough that a local fabricator is usually the better choice for the client, and we will say so.
For multi-site programmes outside that radius we sometimes fabricate here and coordinate a vetted local installer. That works, and we will be explicit about which parts of the job are ours and which are not.
